昨天，V社正式公布了自家的VR测试软件，它的作用是通过一段2分钟由 Valve 所制作的 《光圈科技机器人维修 VR 展示》来评估您计算机的渲染力。在收集相关数据后，它将判断您所使用的系统能否维持在 90 fps 的帧率运作以及 VR 内容的视觉保真能否够校调至推荐的水平标准。
随后大批玩家便详细查看了这一文件来找寻有关于《半条命3》的蛛丝马迹。幸运的是在性能工具文件中真的发现了《半条命2》和《半条命3》的字样，二者是否意味着阀门厂开发《半条命3》或是在VR平台上重新制作《半条命2》还不得而知。
